Winner of Print 1: New Beginnings

ST. LOUIS, April 18, 2005 – Larry R. Titzer, of Titzer Farms in Chandler, Ind., won the framed, autographed artist's proof of "New Beginnings," the introductory painting in the Celebration Series from AGROTAIN International, L.L.C. Titzer entered the drawing at this year's Commodity Classic show held in Austin, Texas.

"We introduced the Celebration Series earlier this year to pay tribute to the hard work and dedication of farming families everywhere," says Steve Parrish, Regional Sales Manager for AGROTAIN International. "We've tried to capture a few of the special memories developed while growing up on a farm."

Parrish presented the print to Titzer at the Titzer family homestead near Chandler. Larry, his brother Doug, and Larry's son Brent make up the family partnership that produces corn and soybeans. The Titzer family has been farming in the area for over 130 years.

"My son is the fifth generation of our family to farm this land, and we're proud of our agricultural heritage," says Titzer. "I am familiar with the artist's work, and this print will have special meaning for our family."

The painting is the work of Diane Ubelhor-Wunderlich, who has been painting professionally for more than 18 years. The first painting in the series, "New Beginnings," is set in the 1950's and depicts the arrival of guests for that special first-time meeting of a new family member.
